The Canadian government introduced the Express Entry system in 2015 – it is a selection system implemented by the Government which is meant to expedite the application processes for various Immigration Programs; under the express entry, applications are submitted electronically resulting in fast processing times and more accuracy in the collection of documents.

NOC or National Occupation Classification is a list of all the classified jobs under four main categories based on skill level and skill type such as:

After entering all the required information on your Express Entry profile, you will be added to the IRCC pool of candidates. Based on your information, you’ll be ranked on Express Entry's point-based system.
● Get an invitation and apply for permanent residence
The candidates with the highest scores in the Express Entry pool will receive an invitation to apply for permanent residence in Canada after selection.
Express Entry Processing Time
Generally, Express Entry takes approximately six months, depending on the number of applications being processed. Though, upon receiving an invitation, you get 60 days to apply for your permanent residence.
